During the second presidential debate Senator Barack Obama and Senator John McCain answer questions from the audience. During this debate I think that Senator Obama did a good job on it. A good point that Senator Obama made was “Senator McCain talks a lot about drilling, and that’s important, but we have three percent of the world’s oil reserves and we use 25 percent of the world’s oil. So what that means is that we can’t simply drill our wait out of the problem. And we’re not going to be able to deal with the climate crisis if our only solution is to use more fossil fuels that create global warming.” A bad point that Senator Obama made was “Senator McCain and I actually agree on something. He said a while back that the big problem with energy is that for 30 years, politicians in Washington haven’t done anything. What Senator McCain doesn’t mention is he been there 26 of them. And during that time, he voted 23 times against alternative fuels, 23 times.”

Energy an important topic for the Elections.
Energy is a really important in the 2008 elections because the new president has to choose which way of making energy that will not effect the planets atmosphere. McCain and Obama have similar ideas on how to solve the Energy crisis that the country is going throught. McCain wants to use solar & wind; on the other hand Obama will also use solar and wind energy. The differences between John McCain and Barack Obama is that McCain wants to use nuclear energy and Obama wants to use renewable energy. other different between then is taht McCain wants to drill the oil that we got here in the U.S and Obama wants to create cars that dont use gasoline instead of drilling the oil that we have because he knows that the oil wont last forever. We have 3% of the oil reserves of the world and we use 25% of it. I think that using wind and solar energy is a good ideas but but when it comes to nuclear or renewable energy I will have to go with using renewable energy like Obama.
